Food Industry
Brief description of food conveyor belt:
The food conveyor belt is made of non-toxic materials, non-toxic, no peculiar smell, smooth surface, suitable for transporting food and food raw materials and other environments.
The main material of the non-toxic food conveyor belt is PU type. Because PVC, polyethylene, etc. contain harmful ingredients, PU conveyor belts are basically used in the food industry.
The materials are PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, PP, plastic steel ACETAL, PE, nylon, PA, etc. There are corresponding special conveyor belts for specific foods, such as: aquatic conveyor belts require grids that can seep water, and also Corrosion resistant and easy to clean.
Common ones are: vegetable conveyor belt, special conveyor belt for snack food, special conveyor belt for beer, special conveyor belt for seafood and aquatic products
Care and Maintenance
During transportation and storage, food conveyor belts should be kept clean to avoid exposure to sunlight or rain or snow, to prevent contact with acids, alkali oils, organic solvents and other substances, and to be one meter away from the heating device. During storage, the temperature in the warehouse should be kept between -18°C - 40°C, and the relative temperature should be kept between 50-80% RH. During storage, the product must be placed in rolls, not folded, and should be turned quarterly during the storage period. Conveyor belts of different types and specifications should not be used together, and the joints should preferably be glued. The type, structure, specification and number of layers of the conveyor belt should be reasonably selected according to the conditions of use. Generally, the running speed of the conveyor belt should not be as high as 2.5 m/s. For materials with large lumps and high abrasiveness, and using a fixed plough-type unloading device, the low speed should be used as much as possible. The diameter of the transmission roller of the conveyor, the relationship between the cloth layer of the conveyor belt, the transmission roller, the reversing roller, and the requirements for the groove angle of the idler should be reasonably selected according to the design regulations of the conveyor. The feeding direction should follow the running direction of the belt. In order to reduce the impact on the belt when the material falls, a chute should be used to reduce the falling distance of the material; the belt receiving section should shorten the distance between the idlers and use a buffer idler. A soft and moderate baffle should be used to avoid the baffle being too hard and scratching the belt surface of the conveyor belt.
Precautions for use:
(1) Avoid the idler being covered by the material, resulting in ineffective rotation, preventing material leakage from being stuck between the roller and the belt, pay attention to the lubrication of the moving parts, but do not contaminate the conveyor belt; (2) Avoid starting with a load; (3) Tape If the deviation occurs, measures should be taken to correct it in time; (4) the local operation of the tape should be repaired in time to avoid expansion; (5) the tape should be prevented from being blocked by the frame, pillars or block materials to prevent it from being broken and torn.
